When you come along, come with a question. Because you will have amazing answers by the end. Delfina and Valerie, both experienced Expressive Arts Therapists in San Francisco, facilitate workshops that help people realize their dreams, express themselves without fear and shame, and be more comfortable with their desires, hopes and creativity. Working in the tradition of Expressive Arts, they lead participants through a series of activities: journal making, painting, dance and costume themed parties - that are venues to self discovery and exploration. Each activity offers unique perspectives and avenues of communication, helping to open up possibilities towards healing. The art created is at the centre of this discovery process - art has the ability to expand the imagination, enliven the senses, tell our life stories and illuminate our inner world. Participants will uncover dreams, pains, blocks, where they are "stuck", and what needs to change. Wonderful vegetarian food, cozy nights slumbering in a yurt, and days filled with exploration... a wonderful combination. Add to that morning yoga and meditation sessions, time to journal and "make art" - you'll be encouraged to draw as ugly as you can - plus singing and dancing - it's a truly magical experience.
